1975-1989 SFC Zloty
Inspired by classic van from Poland, produced in the 1970s and 1980s as FSC Zuk, which was most widespread local-produced van in this country in the Socialist era.
Zuk itself was very durable van, found in various configs, from open and covered hull, to the milicja (communist police) van, ambulance and firetruck minibus. Presented model here is the minibus trim in the classic Zuk orange colour. Although it was very modern for the Communist-block models, it was powered by 2.1L inliner-4 from the Soviet "Pobeda" model, traced back in the 1940s. Fuel consumption was very unefficient, the interior was basic and cheap, but all these flaws were countered by its durability, offroad capacitibilities and awesome practicality. Projected to last for 30+ years with minimal maintenance cost, Zuk (Zloty) was eventually replaced by more modern Lublin model in the 1990s, powered by South Korean mechanics.
