A company called Lodgepole started in Sardinia in 1962. However, in 1975. They started making trucks and in 1979. They released this stake bed truck. The Lodgepole L-400. It was a truck that could haul logs and other loads.

The production years of this truck were only from 1979 to 1981.

This truck sold 19,000 models in 1979 and sold 47,000 models in total. This truck also does not have a tow hitch.
