Some acts are pretty hard to follow up.

While the Wulff W-6 had never been a huge commercial success, it provided enough of a legacy to spark an interest in a follow-up model. Building on the idea of a long, comfortable yet significantly sporty GT-type car, the W-8 Sportkreuzer was eventually brought out from the skunkworks at Wulff, some twenty odd years after the original.

Featuring a 4.2 liter V8 engine producing 258 horsepower, the W-8 is no slouch by any means. It may not be the highest power figure, but keep in mind it weighs just 1165 kg, and has a short-shifted 5-speed manual transmission. It may not look like it, but it's a serious handling contender, with aerodynamic efficiency and enough grunt to back it up on the straights.

Furthermore, the W-8 being one of the mid-range Wulff models caused it to become quite popular among both purist enthusiasts and the modified scene. It's a rather easy car to drive - while it doesn't hold your hand with electronic assists, it doesn't really try to push you off balance either. As long as you've got decent control of the situation, it will treat you well.
------------------
The W-8 is a kind of car I've been wanting to make for a long time, a comfortable cruiser which also isn't afraid to tear up some rubber if that's what's wanted. I hope you will enjoy it!
