After the successful run of the first Marlin, "The Featherweight Supercar," it was believed that the now outdated marlin needed an upgrade. Though the Marlin was given a new body and powerplant, the goal was still the same. Make a lightweight supercar. This car, was the result. The 2.5 liter twin-turbocharged flat 6 produced 250 horsepower, allowing the car to go from 0-62 in 4.5 seconds, and achieve a top speed of 203 Miles Per Hour. The car was so fast, it was able to keep the land speed record from the likes of the Porsche 959, and the RUF BTR. Keep in mind that the reason for this was the fact that the car weighed just over 2200 lbs! In conclusion, the car was just like it's predecessor in the fact that it was not only fast in a straight line, but it was also nimble in the corners.
