After the success of the Piccolina city car through the 50s and 60s, and later the PendoSpia in the 1970s, as the 1980s rolled around, it was time for Autobello to create something new!

Many of their cars were small and cheap, Autobello wanted to keep that tradition, but with global populations rising, and more people driving with bigger families, they needed to think fast..

So they made a tiny sedan!

The Autobello Bambino, produced from 1985 all the way to 1994, this came standard with a basic i4 and rugged manual transmission and FWD,

it became a cultural icon in Italy and even got popular overseas as a budget-oriented A to B'er. It never got as popular as the Piccolina or PendoSpia, but it certainly left a lasting impact for sure!
