It was the late 1980's and Ibishu decided they needed to try and break into the European Car market. The Cortana was the result of months of brainstorming and design engineering. It wasn't initially a success, but became a staple among the European's as a cheap, economical, family car. It featured either a N/A or Turbocharged I4 and was only available with a 4 speed automatic or a 4 speed manual. The Cortana has maintained a cult following in countries such as Germany, France, Italy, and Poland.
