This is my second mod!
It adds a 2.5L 4 cylinder engine ripped out of a Bruckell Legran to both the D-Series pickup and the Roamer SUV. By itself, it's agonizingly slow and would be a poor engine choice for a full-sized truck. But...
This engine also comes with 2 forced induction choices:
-A stage 3 supercharger
-A variable boost turbocharger
This motor is also compatible with nitrous, but needs the forced induction upgrades that strengthen the internals. Otherwise, you'll have four pistons strewn on the road behind you!
The supercharger is a better choice for high torque applications, such as towing and off-roading. The turbo is a better choice for street and racing trucks due to the turbo lag and high peak RPM horsepower. But both are powerful!

That’s an idea. No VVT here though, this is the equivalent of a GM Iron Duke or a Mitsubishi 4 from the 80s.

Thanks! Surprisingly, the supercharged variant is excellent at towing. I can pretty easily tow an empty semi trailer + dolly uphill with a properly equipped truck. It even spins all four doing it.
She runs hot though!
