Alpha 2008 Yandev Vestra (Gen 2) 1.1

The sequel to my quick and dirty Yandev Vestra project on Automation. I still use Automation to make my cars, but this one is far better. It has a basic interior, headlights that don't look like styrofoam, some more fitting wheels, and Yandev badging.

This car is meant to be the theoretical successor to the first Vestra. Made in 2008, it would be about 5 - 7 years younger than the first generation. Though rather than being a subcompact sporty hatch, this is more of a modern economy car. It sports a 1.7L I4 that makes 122 horsepower @6200RPM, and 125 lb-ft of torque @3700RPM. It propels itself to 62 mph in 9.7 seconds. This puts it right up against the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla of the era, which got 10.1 seconds and 9.4 seconds respectively.

It handles well, it gets 35 miles to the gallon with its 6 speed automatic transmission, and weighs a mere 2465 pounds. It's a fun little car that fills the hole of "late 2000's hatch" in BeamNG quite nicely.
