This is a fanmade New Type 1 based off the old Type 1 by Marcus_gt500 (its here, check it out! https://www.beamng.com/resources/leutewagen-type-1-sedan.21228/). since a new Beetle body had just been made, I took it upon myself to make a new Type 1 in continuation. This isnt lore affiliated with the other Type 1, nor is it affilliated with the other two Leutewagens on the repo, the Gaia and the Meta, it only shares the name because its easier for my brain
as per usual with my mods, it comes with several trims
the user friendly New Type 1 base model comes with 140hp from a turbo I4. Its not the cheapest, but it stands out
the Type 1 convertible, with its recognisable folded top, is more powerful, powered by a Turbo I5 this time, however, its still not super fast
the Type 1 Classic is both a homage, and a hot hatch. Its basically a factory built sleeper, and it can smash other hatchbacks on the track
The type 1 Baja Concept is a homage also, a homage to the people who turn the Type 1 into Buggies. This didnt sell, but it was a nice concept
