In 2008, "Project 8" was shown at Geneva Motor Show, showing revolutionare all around pushrod suspension, a 830 horspower Biturbo engine and a ultra light aluminiun body.
Altough Baiern was having a crisis in 2013, they still decided to release and build the 89,995$ the Baiern Turbo Speed-8. Having a 4.5 liter V8, with 600 horsepower. They built 1247 units, 4 of them being racecars (soon) , and 1 being a gold coated, not a good decision at the time.
This one comes in the special "Midnight Purple" color, only featured in 39 cars. Resale values of the Speed-8 go up to 350,000 euros, depending on the variant.
The body was patented from Porsche, elongated, and optimized for the 600 HP / 700NM ground shaking V8
