And now Ibishu has extended the appeal of those words to the ordinary middle class by giving its luxury brand, Chaparel, the AX-Line - their cheapest crossover yet, starting at $31,200 stateside and even less on some markets.
This one is the base engine/drivetrain combination - the front-wheel-drive 180 HP 20AXt. However, it has the 9-speed automatic gearbox, and it's got a lot of options that end up making it heavier than you may think.
Cheap? No. Spacious? No. Conventionally-styled? No. Guaranteed hit? Yes.
