The Scallatta Imola was already a pretty capable sports sedan, with a powerful V6 and a manual gearbox. But for those that wanted a no compromise track focused saloon, GS released the Imola GSM, the hardcore version of the Imola. For this model saving weight was essential, so the looked everywhere in search of ways to decrease the weight. They first started with the engine, gone is the 3.6 TT V6 and in is the brand's new 3.0 TT I6, which is 46kg lighter while making 50 more hp, so now power is up to 560Bhp, this goes to the rear wheels only through a 7-speed DCT instead of the 6-speed manual, this allows it to do 0-100kph in just 3.2s. GS also removed the rear seats, some sound insulation, it replaced the wheels with magnesium ones, the brakes are carbon ceramic units, among other changes, as a result, the Imola GSM comes in at 1529kg, whcih represents a 198kg weight loss over the regular Imola. Other upgrades to this track focused machine includes wider, Semi-Slick tires which improves grip, as well as more agressive Aerodynamic bodykit that generates close to 500kg of total downforce at top speed. Visually, changes include yellow DRLs, an hommage to GT race cars, an exclusive paint color and several gold pieces of trim around the car. The Imola GSM is limited to 500 units worldwide, each one costing 88400$.
