DESRIPTION:
In a world where darkness meets dynamism, a new figure emerges from the shadows—the Vaio Goliathan. Conceived through a rare and deliberate partnership between the Vaio Motor Company and the Dominion Motor Group, the Goliathan is not just a car—it’s a manifestation of presence, power, and provocation.
Built upon the proven underpinnings of the Atkins Motor Corporation’s revered Alpiniste platform, the Goliathan takes the refined bones of that flagship sedan and distorts them into something far more enigmatic. Slightly reworked proportions—shortened overhangs, a more condensed greenhouse—hint at its athletic intent, while every square inch of the exterior tells a completely different story than its origin.
The bodywork is pure Vaio: low-slung, moody, and shaped with surgical aggression. Razor-edged lines weave through bold body graphics, punctuated by Vaio’s signature lighting treatments. The X-shaped headlamps and tail lights are more than illumination—they’re insignias, design rituals. Orange marker lights flare like watchful eyes, embedded as both legal necessity and thematic punctuation. The window line dips and curves with unorthodox defiance, while blacked-out trim completes the brand’s visual thesis: darkness is not absence, it’s identity.
The Goliathan’s "Afterlife" trim makes its debut as the ultra-luxurious, fully-loaded variant. Featuring all the opulence of the Alpiniste’s cabin, the interior remains untouched—an intentional decision, as Vaio felt no need to disturb perfection. Sumptuous materials, obsessive detail, and analog presence remain central to the experience. But where the Atkins Alpiniste speaks in the hushed tones of dignified luxury, the Goliathan responds with a growl—a difference felt in its character, not just its components.
Beneath its sculpted hood lies the heart of the beast: the Atkins hand-assembled V12. A powerplant of mythic quality, chosen not only for performance but for the aura it exudes. Mechanical, imperfect, alive—just like the Goliathan itself.
Despite Dominion Motor Group’s involvement in the venture, it must be emphasized that Vaio remains entirely independent—its own entity, its own mind, its own mood. Vaio is not a DMG brand, nor is Goliathan part of the Dominion lineage. Both the Vaio brand and the Goliathan nameplate, including their design language, logos, and brand expression, are wholly the intellectual property of Bree Johnson and the Vaio Motor Company, used in this joint venture with full permission.
Production of the Goliathan will be extraordinarily limited. The “Afterlife” trim leads the way for now, but whispers already swirl of what may follow: the elemental “Birth” base model, the refined yet sharpened “Evolve,” and the sinister, uncompromising “Decay.” For now, though, the Goliathan Afterlife stands alone—proud, provocative, and poised in the darkness.
It doesn’t simply arrive.
It descends.
