What kind of company is Arima?
Arima is a Japanese multinational automotive manufacturers and one of the largest automobile manufacturers in the world.
It's based on Toyota, and it's not related to Ibishu or Hirochi, it's just a competition company.
Lore
The Arima Monica ELDY and Arima Celina EXiA is a four-door hard-top sedan named after its car, Monica and Celina. and was so popular with young people that it caused a four-door hard-top trend in Japan at the time with its sleek style and excellent performance.
Monica ELDY sought luxurious appearance, and Celina EXiA emphasized sporty image through the Japanese Touring Car Championship(JTCC) appearance.
However, as Japan's automobile consumption direction changed to habitability, stability, and practicality, its popularity gradually declined, and eventually it was discontinued in 1998 and ended the history of Monica ELDY and Celina EXiA.
Monica ELDY was sold at Arima Store, which sold luxury & sports cars.
And Celina EXiA was sold at Joyce dealerships, which sold progressive vehicles focused on young and female customers.
