backstory: the taurus automotive company was founded in 1898 by the Johnson brothers. they named the company after the mighty American bison. it wasn't until later that they discovered that while they were bovine it wasn't a bull. however, they kept the name because it was cool. they then began making caravans and stagecoaches. in 1919 they discovered the automobile and started making them. in 1932 they saw that if they put a bed on there. cars they could carry more things with them. however, it wasn't until 1950 that they dubbed there truck the Uma. a truck that would go on to be successful across the United States. in 2020 for the 70th anniversary of the Uma they made something special in this v8 powered Baja tested super truck
