Retro-Future, FKK-X-Inspired Hypercar

    I'm happy to present the Alyekka, Promise, A dream Hypercar of mine and my first MOD


    Important Note: Reducing FBB feel in config menu will reduce breaking distance considerably. All configs will be updated when offroad variants are released.

    The Idea:
    To create a high-hp hypercar that can be agile at over 200 MPH, make it easy to drive.
    Features:
    • Scratch-built or heavily modified Jbeam (really only the suspension and Aero can be classified as "modified.")
    • Operable doors and hatches
    • Optimized, scratch-made or completely redone Meshes. Lightweight, only about 160k Verts. (I am not a 3d artist so any further help with edge flow, etc. will be greatly appreciated.)
    • Hyper-meneuverable and stable at high speed. Caveat: The Promise is not the smoothest of rides in Cockpit view as I have not dampened out all the strain on the chassis, it has teeth.
    • 3 Engine variants with 3 exhaust notes based on different tunes for a V12 6.6L engine. Electric engine and dual motor config as well. (Modeled full electric engine and power pack components will be in a future updates, ICE is the focus for this one.)
    • 3 Transmission types, Sequential, DCT and CVT.
    • RWD, AWD Torque Vectoring, or Dual Motor FR Electric, RWD ICE configs
    • 2 Aerodynamic Modes, a general BeamNG Aero that is not optimized and a modified Automation, LUA based aero that makes the car much easier to handle at all speeds and is optimized
    • Capsule based-destruction model like the Scintilla. You can rip off the front and rear of the Promise, leaving the passenger compartment safe in case of high-speed collisions.
    • Highly customizable in all aspects through the tuning menu (There is a perfect suspension config somewhere and I hope one of you will find it and email it to me.)
    • Break-glow by Innocent Joker, Integrated. (Wonderful work, and helped me learn LUA.)
    • Lots of other customizations and details, compatible with all Beam Wheels though not all wheels will handle the weight and pressure of the suspension.
    • Off-road Config coming, but works quite well off-road with the proper wheels and suspension tuning.
    • Integrated GPS and Digital Gauges from the Scintilla, After learning Jbeam and Blender, I did not have time to learn SWG editing.
    • Skin system integrated.
    • Full PBR Textures and all that Jazz.



    Known Issues:
    • Interior View can be a little bouncy. This will need a further evolution of the suspension. You can reduce the break-force to mitigate some of this. If you can help, please let me know.
    • I'm sure there are a many minor mesh, alignment and UV issues, these will be further refined as future updates come along and issue are identified.
    • Not all lights deactivate in the event of a crash. This is simple, but takes time to implement so is left to future versions.
    • FBB and wheel-feel was extensively tested a few version ago, but I was not able to test them for the release version due to lack of time. Please leave feedback.
    • Some minor engine meshes are being redone, and will be complete in future versions.
    The Future:
    • Full off-road and police variants are in the works.
    • Full interior Buttons (also in the works)
    • Custom SWG dash gauges (any help here is greatly appreciated)
    • Updates for .31 physical mirrors and decal system will be implemented in the new year.
    • Implementing a Music-Player (as soon as I get permission), and a LUA PID (fairly trivial, but integrating with Beam code needs some research) so a version can fly a la Bladerunner.
    • A SpeedRacer style jet engine powered version is in the works, but it requires a better tuned full four-wheel steering and the subsequent modeling so further in the future.
    • I can easily make it scratch in case of impact, but it will be a whole panel material replacement, not decal based like it should be. If you want that, let me know. It doesn't look right so it was not included.

    although the idea is cool it is just not made well enough to be worth more then 2 in my opinion it looks to be that the model was made mostly if not entirely in automation as almost all fixtures i can say i have used on my own cars its insanely unstable at any speed to the point it will bounce as you turn tons of clipping all over it seats jiggle like they are jello door opening and closing looks super awkward engine sounds are well automation so not great the whole frame of the car jiggles as you speed up and you can literally see that the modified scintilla jbeam is splitting it also looks lumpy and with the shiny paint its even more noticeable on the topic of paint the gold wrap looks like it was glitched and then they just gave up and called it a design not to mention the constant use of a weird Damascus steel texture just looks off i do feel the mod could be fine if it was worked on more and was more open about the fact thats it a modified automation mod

    I can tell it is an automation mesh slapped on Scintilla's Jbeam, nonethless a good start.

      I'm truly hurt. Check the Jbeam, it is entirely custom, written through many painstaking hours.

      Yeah, on one hand it's awesome that you can design and test so many car quickly in automation, on the other, if you make any fantastic cars, they immediately get lumped in with automation mods. Oh well.
