Shortly after the series 2 of the Aria appeared on the market, Autobello has revealed a couple new engine options. That being fuel injected versions (labeled INI) of already available engines, and a newly developed agricultural diesel engine. Although diesel wasn't very common in this class, it has found a lot of curious buyers. The INI engines weren't only a hit when it comes to power, but also better reliabilty and fuel economy.![]()
Autobello Aria INI + Diesel
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aria 130 Super Diesel
Carrying the Super badge practically only because of its engine size and to justify the price. The diesel was also offered in the Stile trim in smaller numbers. Often bought by people living in rural areas who were interested in raw rugged diesel power, or by people who just wanted something experimental This model was far from popular, but not a flop.
Aria 100 Stile INI
The perfect middle ground. The old trusty 1L OHV with a twist under the hood. Although it was a quick hatch, it was mostly praised for it's class leading fuel economy. Along the new intake, the Stile INI was equipped with a tachometer as standard.
Aria 120 Elegante INI
This model was for the biggest patrons rooting for Autobello, the Elegante was the most luxurious trim the Aria can offer. In this case the already swift engine has gained some power and was mated to a 5-speed gearbox. It was no sport model, but even years after the production ended, it could overtake newer cars with ease.
This mod includes:
- 3 configurations
- fuel injection intake
- 1.3L diesel engine based on a real italian engine from the same era
- diesel rev governor
