The AutoWagen SC-45 is a mid-size German Sedan/Coupe made from 1977-1982, with the name being applied to vehicles of similar size and power from 1975-1991.
The SC-45 used a 4.5L/4525cc DOHC V6 that put out 250 Lb-Ft of torque at 5800 RPM and 278 HP at 6000 RPM. The engine red lines at 6000 rpm. The engine has a Compression Ratio of 9.0:1. This engine takes regular unleaded gasoline, using a standard intake with 4 barrel twin carburetors, getting 5.5 Mpg average. The entirety of the engine is made of cast iron.

The vehicle has a weight of 1780 Kg, or about 3924 pounds.

The AutoWagen SC-45 is quite slow due to the weight, and often has trouble making it up the city hills within West Coast U.S.A. It has a recorded 0-60 average time of 11.70 seconds, averaged over five trials on the Gridmap, and an Automation estimated 0-60 time of 11.60 Seconds.

The SC-45 is a rear wheel drive, body on frame sedan with a double wishbone suspension setup in the front and back. The engine is located in the front, and is mounted longitudinally. The transmission is a three speed manual, with the first gear bringing you to 82 Km/h (50 Mph), The second bringing you to 135 Km/h (83 Mph) and the third bringing you to 190 Km/h (118 Mph).

The interior is of standard quality, with a standard 8 Track in place as the entertainment.

AutoWagen was a German automaker in business from it's founding in 1941 until 1992 when it was absorbed into ETK. It started off business making engines and suspension parts for German tanks and farm equipment, eventually changing over to the production of automobiles in 1949. The vehicles made by AutoWagen were largely mid to full size sedans using V6 and V8 engines. From 1949 into the mid 80s AutoWagen cars tended towards simplicity, and inexpensive cars. Some time in the mid 80s, however, AutoWagen cars started tending towards the more extravagant, expensive automobiles that companies like ETK were making. This ended up being the downfall of AutoWagen, as they simply could not make these expensive sport and luxury cars as well as the larger German companies, and they were bought out and absorbed into ETK in 1992.
