Versions
Petitron, Couperon, Ouveron - The original version of the car, sold in France, and world wide.


Americana - USDM Version of the Petitron, and Couperon, includes Imperial gauges, and bigger engines for low-end models compare to world wide counterparts.


Inde - Indian version of the Petitron, includes short bumpers, 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2 litre engines with carburettor or fuel injection, and they're based on older versions of the car.


SportPower - Sporty version of the Petitron which include a lot of modifications and DOHC engines. 2000s versions come with a "Boostronic" engine. Expensive variants came with V6 and V8.


Petitron-e, Couperon-e, Ouveron-e - Electric version of the car. Same as the normal combustion engine versions.


Offron - Off-road orientated version of the Petitron, with either RWD, or AWD, depending on a package.


Utiron - Budget off-road version of the Petitron and later the Offron, some packages came with FWD, or AWD, depending on the use of that package.

Lore
Autron was founded somewhere in the 1970s, originally as a parts manufacturer and supplier for some French and other European automakers around that time. In 1985 however, Autron took a different direction and partnered up with a Japanese car maker Ibishu to create a new French vehicle that would be made in a new factory built by Autron in Mulhouse, France. Ibishu would allow Autron to use their still in development Ibishu Covet, and Autron would allow Ibishu to produce cars in the new factory to decrease export tax the japanese maker struggles with.

Autron's first car would be released in 1989 and was a shortened version of the Ibishu Covet called the "Autron CVP" (Compact Vehicle Platform), It came in multiple body styles with their own names (Petitron, Couperon, Ouveron, and others), some of which were added later on in the car's lifespan. In 1996 the car would be updated with some slight exterior and interior changes, as well as improving the safety of the car. In 2000 the car was updated for the last time, with new exterior and interior design, new engines, Autronic transmission which replaces the manual and automatic transmissions, and improved safety for the new 2000s standards. Autron CVP would end production in 2006, however Autron would still provide parts for the CVP cars until 2019.

Known Issues
-NOS bottle is clipping through the floor
-Jbeams might be bad in some places
-Terrible UVs
-Some Configs may be questinable, and some made with errors
-No RHD Layout windshield wipers
-Terrible modeling in some places
-Some places aren't done well, or don't function properly
-Skin UV may be not correct looking, and for some parts it doesn't works.
-And other things that i either don't know yet, or forgot about them.

Those who's making a mod that want to include the brand Autron, you can do it, just keep in mind that you have to credit me so people know it is clearly not your created car brand.

When you make a new car that will have Autron badging on it, follow these main things for the lore:
1. They started producing cars since 1989.
2. They are French.
3. Partners of Ibishu (means that they both share parts and sometimes cars)
4. They make small or medium-sized cars that cost very cheap.

To those who are about to rate the mod using review feature of the website

If you got issues with the mod after an update, consider reading the "Known Issues" section, where you will find the way to fix the issues related to either broken textures, or reported invisible bodies.

Don't use the review system for trolling, death threats, or hating the mod before even downloading it and experiencing it. Any reviews that have very offensive descriptions will be sent to moderation team through report system of the website.

To those, who have the mod not working after it got an update
If the mod suddenly stopped working, or constantly glitches out very hard to the point that the game will crash, you may have to clean cache of the game with the mod not present in your subscribed mods or in the mods folder.

This is likely caused by the automatic updates of the mod, as the manual updating mostly won't corrupt the mod for the most part as far as my knowledge goes.

If you ever experienced this issue, download a copy from this website, go to AppData/Local/BeamNG.drive/(current version)/mods/repository, and replace "p1_release" file with the one you have manually downloaded. This is how it worked for me, it may work different on your side depending on how long you had the mod, as well as the hardware issues and other factors.

To try fixing the problem, and return the mod back from dead, try this:
-Clean cache with the mod removed from subscribed list and from the mods folder. and once cache cleaning got finished, put the mod back into the mods folder, or re-subscribe using the repository website or in-game page.

-Try reinstalling the mod without cleaning cache

-Manually update the mod if the problem was with the automatic updates for mods.
