It's not perfect now, it's undeniable, but I saw some 1 star ratings, and 1 star rating is too much low...This mod, imho, has a lot of potential and I'm sure you will fix all the bugs ;)

ima be honest, you need to improve your modelling and stuff, but this mod has some good variety. the people leaving 1 star reviews are too harsh on you

I'd say people are being a bit harsh on you for this mod. It's average. The model has a fair bit of issues here and there and the texture work is terrible. Deformation isn't awful but it still has a ton of work and I can see a bit of spiking. Jbeam is eh. It has potential, however you've yet to use all of it.

No funny name anymore bring jezza back. Also fix the model pls the golf 3 has an flat-*** nose and rear, its like an slightly curved box not an blob like this one is. the gauges are also eye piercing and glowmaps are broken on the rear. Theres also countless shading issues, and countless materials issues. the front wheels dont align with the wheel well either, AND the suspension setup is wrong. the real thing has mcpherson front and torsion bar on the rear (you can borrow both from vivace with a little of jbeam work). The mesh you can use clearcoat or different mat cap settings in blender to help find them and then use mark sharp to try and help with the shading. you can find numerous material tutorials and material baking in blender to help you make better materials in the interior and you can use other game's golf models to help achieve an more accurate model. Don't be afraid of using up-top bumper pictures from ebay or salvage yards to help achieve the shapes properly. Try finding gauge pictures from the internet and trace them in paint.net to achieve an more accurate gauge tex (An tip for you is that the Seat Ibiza and Polo Classic [6K1] share the same gauges as the MK3 golf, if you can't find good ref ones for it). I know youre starting on modding so don't get demotivated from the complaints, and i hope my tips will be useful for you!

my man, i bulged the rear on purpose, back when i started it it looked like a potato literally and i re modeled the front and doors kinda. my pc is too weak for baking textures sadly and i have to edit them in PS or paint.net. the suspension and underbody and mechanicals are from covet and that's the way it is. also, gauges are being reworked from scratch and beamNG cannot read the texture propperly sadly. but we're nearly there

not sure what i was expecting from one of your newly rushed mods, but this is still bad. you need to work on improving specific parts about your mods like the modelling for a start instead of starting new projects which, at the end of the day all have the same, terrible quality

This mod is really cool man, but you have to strengthen the body structure. It is less resistant the the ETK A -Series series, making it not realistic (which is a car a while older).
But as I said, the idea is cool and also the result is not bad. Will you make it more resistant?

It's okay. All I have to say is it's okay. It's a great great idea. Just not executed well. It just needs a lot of polishing, such as wheels being oddly placed, and some panels looking too blocky. Otherwise you have a good idea just please please PLEASE refine it.

At first i was really excited to see, what this mod cound bring but i was severely dissapointed at every turn.

This was one of the lest fun experiences with a mod i had in a while. The model looks awful, The wheels require a 450mb mod to work, the file size is enormous even tho its an edited covet, the car handles badly, the interior is suspiciously high quality compared to the rest of the car, the engines sound off, the power outputs are false, the naming scheme is terrible and the Jbeam is abysmal. THe wheelbases on the cars dont even match on the jezza models at all...

I would have said you tried, but i really doubt it at this point

    Please accept criticism man.
This is 1000x better than what I can currently do. Rough around the edges in general, still a fun car to drive. Would love to see this brought to the next level one day, just overall refining. You are capable of it bud, awesome mod

its cool and all, but textures , modeling, jbeaming etc ALL need refining, seems kind of rushed. interior and rear lights+doors are prime examples of this. could be cool with some work though.

Not bad but it needs more work, especially interior, gauges are bad, water temp and fuel gauges are broken, since I see Adam helped you in his typical fashion interior is textures are meh and missing pbr, black interior is too black.

pretty nice mod, seems a bit unfinished tho. i haven't played with it much but this is what i noticed so far
    pros:
    - great crash model, very little to no spiking, the deformation is pretty accurate to real life which is quite rare with beamng mods
    - bodystyles, i was very glad that it has both 5d and 3d hatchback models and the sedan was a very nice surprise too
    - special editions, very happy to see these, i'm a big fan of these little limited editions of cheap cars.
    cons:
    - 1.4 engine is the same as the 1.6
    - the NA diesel is very underpowered even for it's age, the diesel turbo starts pulling very very late, turbo kicks in at around 2k rpm. haven't tried any other engines but my expectations are low after this
    - the gauges are very small and the speedo stripes don't make any sense, they're just randomly thrown around not matching the speed icons (at least for the 180kmh and 200kmh speedo)
    - the model is a bit messy

i think this mod is still fun even with it's imperfections and has a lot of potential, good luck :)
