Beaufort Island is a small and sparsely populated island in northern Alaska. It was once home to a key port in the booming offshore oil industry. It has since declined to become a near ghost town. Beaufort Island has recently become a top destination for motor enthusiasts. The island contains several miles of paved and dirt roads ideal for road and rally racing.
