Ferry from the Port Escape Scenario

    Hello! This is the first release of the Belasco Heavy Industries DH-139 Ferry! If you have played the port escape scenario, this is the model from that. It has a functional jbeam, pathways you can walk on, an interior camera, a working(but glitchy) ramp, and working propellers!(thanks to @Agent_Y )
    There are currently 2 configurations, the "Base" model, and the "Cargo" model. for the moment, you can only have up to 2 cargo containers on the boat, as trying to add more will start breaking stuff.

    Top speed of about 12mph.
    Dual props

    You can sink the ferry by using "break all breakgroups"

    I have thought of doing this for a while but completely forgot about it until @Weekerd reminded me the model existed, mod idea goes to him

    This mod is awesome! I enjoy having this mod. But I cannot figure out how to open ramp

      The ramp is not the best, I believe the keybinds right now for it are Y and U? Other than that you can check the vehicle specific keybinds menu in the settings and set a custom control there, I know the ramp isnt the best but I have had no motivation to fix it haha, maybe someday.

    love this ferry i have an idea to make it sink slower aswell have two smaller ballasts that will not support its weight fully a lesser one in its rear with a stronger one at its front should immitate the air escaping just right for a satisfying sinking

      I like this idea! I am trying something similar with another project I am working on, and will probably add that to this in the future!

    the mod looks good but why does it not come up in the vehicle menu please please fix this I would really arpriciate it:)

      it should show up, I haven't had an issue and havent heard of anyone else having that issue. Are you sure the mod is enabled? Please check the mod section in the menu and make sure the mod is enabled, and if it is, are you getting any specific errors? You can check in game errors with the debug menu(default keybind is `). If you are getting some errors there related to this mod, please message me and I will try to help

    Very poor 2000's model and texture ramp instantly demolishes or absorbs tires painfully slow speed no other special features 4mb able to be made in a day without any prior knowledge

      Did you read the description? I know the model isnt the best, its from the port escape scenario. I also mention in the description the issues with the ramp, saying that I would someday rework it.

    Amazing mod, I like how you can sink it but if there was one thing if I was able to change it would to be how fast / slow it sinks. In my opinion it sinks too fast

      I also wish I could edit this, but because it sinks by simply breaking the pressured area off the hull, and I can’t think of any other way to sink it, I cannot. The only possible way I could do that is by making the drag of the vehicle much higher to make it sink slower, but that would make it drive WAY slower so I won’t do that.

      When does it capsize? It should not capsize at all from what I have tested, are you possibly spawning it to low in the water? from what I have experienced with boat mods this can sometimes cause weird behavior

    Look at me, I'm The Captain Now

    My only recommendation would be adding door models and enterable trigger for the main deck's door to control the ship though., or maybe also adding triggerable door to enter rooms inside the ship.

      I would love to do that, in the future when I have more time to create an interior 3d model and learn how triggers work for doors I could definately check it out!
