For almost 40 years, italian firm Bianco Corporazione Automobili has held a special place in the lives of motorists around the world, all thanks to the Itto Hatchback. Known for its compact size, high fuel efficiency, unique styling and class-leading performance, the Itto has long been the benchmark against which all other hot hatchbacks have been judged. Now, with a single mod, you too can enjoy several configurations from all four of the car's generations. A highlight of each is given below.

Required Mod: Supercharge Any Engine by Msaxflismyren

    1985 Bianco Corporazione Automobili
Itto LX-i Hatchback 3-Door and Cabriolet (1st Generation)
    20191104225455_1.jpg 20191104225543_1.jpg
The LX-i model was the first-generation's mid-range model, with full-leather seats, air conditioning as standard, and a slightly bigger engine. The Cabrio trim model was a variant of the LX-i, with a similar level of equipment fitted as standard.

Itto iRX Turbo Hatchback 3-Door (1st Generation)
    20191104225130_1.jpg 20191016233434_1.jpg
The one that started it all. A four-cylinder, turbocharged hatchback with unique red and black leather trim, a 5-speed manual, and available AWD? The public went crazy for the first generation Itto iRX Turbo. With this, a legend was born.

    1990-1997 Bianco Corporazione Automobili
    Itto iRX-II Hatchback 3-Door (2nd Generation)

    20191105023901_1.jpg 20191105023854_1.jpg
With the iRX-II, Bianco stuck with the AWD format and simply added onto what made the original iRX so massively popular: The friendly styling, the manual transmission, and the endless fun.

    1998-2006 Bianco Corporazione Automobili
    Itto iRX-4 Hatchback 3-Door (3rd generation)

    20191104230344_1.jpg 20191104230244_1.jpg
The third generation Itto iRX hatchback first debuted in 1997, and quickly developed a reputation as one of the most dangerous cars Bianco has ever produced.

The 3rd-gen ditched the previous engine layouts in favor of a 4-cylinder, twin-turbocharged boxer engine capable of 515 horsepower. The engine was deemed the source of several major accidents involving the car, requiring Bianco to frantically return to the drawing board and redesign the entire car's underpinnings, including brakes and suspension.

This version, the iRX-4, is that redesigned model. And history has shown that, to those who know what the car is capable of, this 3rd-gen iRX-4 is considered one of the most rewarding cars ever to drive, if you have the patience and skill to drive it.

    2008-2015 Bianco Corporazione Automobili
Itto iRX Hatchback 3-Door (4th Generation)

When it finally came time to introduce the fourth generation of their fabled Itto hatchback, the engineers at Bianco knew they had a lot to live up to, especially given the cult-like following the infamous third generation iRX-4 had acquired over the years. But rather than build another stripped out, hardcore racer like the third-gen Itto, Bianco decided to return the car to its roots. They sought to redesign the car from the ground up, focusing on the same ideals and principles that made the original ‘85 itto iRX Turbo so immensely popular. With that in mind, they got to work, beginning with a brand new engine.

The standard Itto iRX is powered by a 2.5L twin-turbocharged V6 engine, SOHC with 4 valves per cylinder. The engine produces 220 horsepower at 6800 RPM, and 285 lb-ft of torque at 4200 RPM, coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission as standard. In 2009, an 8-speed Dual-Clutch transmission was introduced, and was made available as an $800 option.

The fourth-generation Itto also saw the removal of the highly-complex AWD system seen in the 2nd- and 3rd generation Itto iRX models, in favor of a return to a simpler, more traditional FWD layout. In addition to making the car significantly lighter than it otherwise would have been, it made driving the new iRX a much tamer experience, without sacrificing any of the enjoyment factor the iRX models have so long been known for.

    Config #1: iRX Turbo (M)
    20190928204124_1.jpg 20190928204700_1.jpg
    Price: $27,582 (as pictured)
    Transmission: Manual; 6-Speed
    Horsepower: 220hp @ 6800 RPM
    Torque: 285lb-ft @ 4200 RPM

    -Bio-
2008 saw the introduction of the fourth-generation of the Itto 3-door Hatchback, a marque that has seen great success and critical acclaim since the debut of the first-generation in 1985. The 4th-gen saw a return to the Itto's roots, ditching the overly-complex AWD system of the previous generation and redesigning the car's handling to be more accessible to a wider audience while still retaining its immense joy factor. The car saw rave success after its release and has since become a fan-favorite among less hardcore motoring enthusiasts.

    Config #2: iRX-S (M)
    20191017211601_1.jpg 20191005125837_1.jpg
    Price: $31,239 (as pictured)
    Transmission: Manual; 6-Speed
    Horsepower: 235hp @ 6600 RPM
    Torque: 275lb-ft @ 3800 RPM

    -Bio-
In 2009, Bianco experimented with two variations on the 4th-gen’s engine, starting with the iRX Supercharged, whose name is self-expanatory. This trim swapped the twin-turbos for a single centrifugal supercharger, and later swapped the manual for a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

    Config #3: iRX Cabrio (2011)
    20191019201032_1.jpg
    Price: $29,449 (as pictured)
    Transmission: Automatic; 6-Speed
    Horsepower: 235hp @ 6600 RPM
    Torque: 275lb-ft @ 3800 RPM

    -Bio-
2011 saw the return of the Cabrio nameplate, for the first time since the first generation Itto Cabrio was retired in 1988. This time, rather than being based off the LX-i trim, the new Cabrio is instead based off the iRX platform, albeit with a slightly de-tuned engine and an automatic transmission fitted as standard. This reborn Cabrio saw much greater success than its predecessor, prompting Bianco to let the modern incarnation hang around a little longer than just three short years.

    Config #4: iRX-S Facelift (2015)
    20191104235314_1.jpg 20191104235353_1.jpg

    Price: $31,339 (as pictured)
    Transmission: Dual-Clutch; 7-Speed
    Horsepower: 345hp @ 6900 RPM
    Torque: 425lb-ft @ 4800 RPM

    -Bio-
In 2012, the 4th-Gen Itto received a much-needed facelift. The iRX Turbo and iRX-S received the most attention, sporting more blacked-out accents, advanced LED headlight/taillight fixtures fitted as standard, more powerful engines, and the return of AWD. This 2015 iRX-S is equipped with the 7-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission, upholding its role as Bianco's fastest-accelerating car under $40k.

Config #5: iRX Turbo Facelift (2015)
    20191105000210_1.jpg 20191105000241_1.jpg

    Price: $28,339 (as pictured)
    Transmission: Manual; 7-Speed or Dual-Clutch; 7-Speed
    Horsepower: 320hp @ 6800 RPM
    Torque: 385lb-ft @ 4500 RPM

A forgotten prototype from an unsanctioned project, little is known about this strange, secret Itto. Over the years it's been the source of many an internet conspiracy, and only a few things are said to be known about it:
    1. It was supposedly based on the Facelifted 4th-gen platform.
    2. It was rumored to be equipped with the de-restricted Mostro Frenetico boxer engine -- first made infamous in the 3rd-gen iRX -- with twincharged aspiration.
    3. Only three prototypes were supposedly ever made, and were abandoned in an old testing facility when Bianco management caught wind of the project's existence.

To this day, nobody knows if the rumors are true. But who knows?
Maybe, just maybe ... they could be.

Very well put together! How did you add the interior bits (seats, steering wheel, etc) on the cars?

      Thank you!!

There's actually a new mod for Automation that adds a few small parts like that. Then I used the NEga-tape mod to cut out the windows!

Great. How did you make the windows?

There's a mod called "Nega-Tape". I used a bunch of those to blanket the windows. Not terribly easy with Automation's craptastic hit-box detection, but I made it work. Thanks for the 5 stars!

      Sort of!

The entire premise of "Bianco" as a company is like if VW was Italian, and the Itto is their counterpart to the Golf. "iRX" is like GTI.

how do you put two configs in a mod of automation?

      Author's Response
It's easier than you think. It involves using beam and the "Save and Load" function in the customizer.
