    The Blackpool Superlite is a very lightweight british roadster based on a nearly 70 year old design.

    This mod is based on the latest interpretation of that classic, with a wide selection of road, track and racing variants.

    Features :
    • 2L Ibishu engine as the primary engine, along with a 1300cc engine and a Gavril V8 as options
    • Around 600kg weight for most variants, making it one of the lightest road cars in beamNG, and giving pretty much all variants a power to weight ratio comparable to significantly more powerful cars
    • Suspension customisation, with optional Dedion beam, or double wishbone rear suspension, as well as a selection of coilovers for various applications.
    • Customiseable interior, with a few variations of gauges, switches, seats and colors.
    • Career compatible, with a trunk large enough for single medium size cargo crate.
    • A selection of stock wheels.

    I wish it had lighter engine options. I want thinner tires too but it's great to drive around the Nürburgring.

      Hello. Could you be more specific in what issues you've been having and which areas you thing might be made better?

      If you have RL examples that would be great as well. Caterham being low volume cars there's not a lot of reference available.

    Good mod in terms of the content that IS there. However, being a classic car nut I would've highly appreciated the original Blackpool/Caterham, in the game lore it wouldn't even have to be a derivative model of a Lotus

    So, there's just a couple things to mention.

    First off, I'd give ABOVE a five out of five if possible, solely just from how fun the car is alone. But the only minor criticism? I think you should add some lore with it, including the original Blackpool car, or whatnot, from nearly seven decades past. Also, the actual Caterham 620R was supercharged, not turbocharged, just letting you know that (although fortunately, the turbo lag on the 300 HP version is almost nonexistent anyway).

    Otherwise, phenomenal mod.
