Welcome to the seventies! I'd like to introduce you the origin of the ultimate driving experience, the almost forgotten E21 3 Series. The Source. The beginning. The true.

The BMW E21's lifecycle began in 1975, successing the 02 Series.Thorugh its lifetime, more than 1.3 million cars were produced until the end of 1983.

The package contains the following models:

    315 1980 - The smallest economy model, replaced the 316 in 1980. 75 horsepower.
316 1977 - This was the entry model in 1975, produced until 1981.
318i 1980 - The 316's 1.8 litre engine was equipped with mechanical fuel injection, producing more power, optimizing fuel consumption.
320 1977 US - A US model with the 2 litre 4 cylinder M10.Visual changes are bigger bumpers, and more indicators, with a slightly different color.
    320i 1977 - Still a 4 cylinder, but with injection system.
320/6 1980 - The smaller 6 cylinder, with custom tinted headlights.
323i 1981 - The biggest and strongest model badged as BMW, announced in 1978. 143 horsepower.
B1 2.3 Alpina 1981 - Alpina's attempt to revamp the M20B23 engine, increased the power output by 27 horsepower. Modifications made were the same as to the B6 2.8 engine except for the ignition and the fuel injection unit.
B6 2.8 Alpina 1983 - Alpina took the 2.8 litre M30 powerplant from the E12, modified the ignition, fuel system, combustion chambers, compression ratio, camshafts, and exhaust to increase the power to 218 horsepower, and fitted in the E21's small body, to make a truly fast car.
