BMW E36 Megapack (14 variations) 1.8

14 variatons of the third generation 3 Series

  1. Megtorlow
I proudly present you my replica of the 1990-1999 BMW E36, not just one, but fourteen of them!

The package contains the following models:

-316i 1991 - One of the earliest model, with the most basic 1.6 SOHC I4 engine.
-318i 1993 - Basically the same as the 16i, but comes with a more advanced timing chain, and displacement increased to 1.8 litre, producing more power.
-318is 1992 - Still four cylinders, but it has DOHC, doubling the valves, and significantly increasing the liveliness of the engine.
-320i 1991 - The smallest 6 cylinder, the durability of its M50 engine is still talked about today
-325i 1992 - Decent displacement, decent power output, godlike engine sound.
-325tds Automatic 1996 - Tweaked for comfort and luxury.
    -328i 1994 - A more torquey version of the 25i
-316i M-packet 1994 - The very car I own, love, and cherish. Looks fast, goes slow ;)
-318tds Touring 1997 - The most economical engine offered with the most practical body type. When reason is more important than excitement.
-M3 1995 - The car. No words needed.
    -M3 S1 1995 - A tuned version of the M3, increased power, semi-slick tyres
-Alpina B8 1996 - The very rare Alpina B8, big-@&%* V8 in the front, bad brakes all around.
New trims released in version 1.8:
-Alpina B6 1993 - An improved 328i basically. Moderate power, pure driving experience.
-M3 Lightweight 1995 - Approximately 120KGs lighter than the base M3 version. Gear ratio shortened.

They aren't reaching anywhere near their indicated top speed, but that's BeamNG's fault, and the way it reduces power on all Automation cars. Basically, take 35-40kph off of all listed top speeds on these cars, and you got their real top speed in Beam.

Still a great mod with a lot of attention to detail! 5/5

Yeah, unfortunately I know about this issue, beam does have drag calculating problems on some automation bodies, it's especially noticeable with smaller 4 cyl engines. Before releasing version 2.0, I'll try to improve the top speeds somehow, without altering the cars' characteristics. I will also indicate both the automation and beamng top speed in the description.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it despite this issue!

      Cheers
