Beta Bruckell IBEX 1.0.2

Bruckell's restyled D-Series, designed for a cooler clientele...

    I know I said I was burnt-out on games, but in truth I was burnt-out on making mods that take loads of time to see any progress. Today's mod is one that took me ~3 evenings-worth of work, start-to-finish.
    (It's not exactly finsihed, but it's close enough that I feel okay releasing it.)

    stupid.png (This is exactly what the mod adds)

    ANYWAY. This mod adds;

    -A new radiator support that can mount dove-cut fenders

    -New dove-cut fenders, styled like a Dodge RAM

    -A slightly-edited fascia that won't clip the new fenders

    -Slightly-edited headlights to fit the new fenders

    -Slightly-edited "engbaycrap" and stock engine intake to fit the new fenders

    -A slightly-edited front valance to fit the slightly-edited fascia

    -Probably more, but I can't remember lol

    -1 config, loosely based on a 1995 RAM 1500 4x4. (Called "Ram Test Rig," and pictured above)

    My future plans for this mod;

    -Add a new grille without the inset headlights, because I think it looks a bit odd currently

    -Fine tuning the models, the fenders especially, in the hopes of minimizing shading weirdness

    -Adding more jbeam-detail to the fenders, as they're currently a barely-edited vanilla jbeam that doesn't fit super well

    -Maybe adding some Bruckell-specific badging

    -Maybe adding a V6 engine, or perhaps a Cummins-clone diesel I6
    (Relatively distant future, obviously...)

    Bugs;

    -None that I know of, though I'm sure you guys will find some. Report them here in the reviews, or PM me and I'll try to fix them fast-ish...

    Mod should just drop in your "Mods" folder and work, if it doesn't or if you run into any bugs, again, PM me and I'll try to fix it lol...

    Enjoy, all you crazy, crazy Dodge fanboys... I love you, but I'll never understand you lol

    i love this mod, now it's got me wanting to see how a 3rd gen ram would look
    i do have an idea for the front signals, just there's no discussions thread for this mod yet

    Lovely mod, once finished it will most likely be a top notch mod. Props to you.

    I think getting rid of the lights in the grille and making the actual headlights more Ram-like would be a massive improvement. Way better than anything I could do, though.

      There is currently a "bandaid" fix where I made the wide grilles equippable in the dove-cut fascia (Check "updates" tab for explanation), but yes I do plan to address both of the issues you bring up... Albeit in the perhaps-distant future.

      I just re-downloaded it and tested and it works perfectly. I don't have enough information to pinpoint your issue, but I hope you get it sorted...

    It's a good mod. I know Bruckell badges are in the works, but might I also suggest adding front turn signals as well as unique taillights? It would really tie this thing together really well!

      Front signals are planned, I just don't know where I want to put them yet. Tail lights weren't planned but I'll see if I can come up with something I don't hate.

    bro please, if you can in your power, make a cross grill design very similar to the iconic 1994 dodge ram grill, and i will love this mod as my most favorite of all time in beamng.

    Honest review time!

    I really like how this looks, especially without the headlights in the grille. It has a nice, muscular "tough" design up front.

    But, it needs work. A bit of it. The new front fascia doesn't have any turn signals, somewhat breaking the look. Might I suggest putting some small indicators onto the bumpers?

    There are no Bruckell badges. It doesn't make sense to have a Bruckell with Gavril D15 badges (although i understand it's not just a one-and-done thing. Same goes for the steering wheel on the interior.

    But other than that? I really like the potential this has. It's got a good "proof of concept" going for it and i'm hoping you decide to continue updating this

      Every review should be honest.

      Most of your complaints will be addressed in future updates.

      I feel like the body of your review doesn't quite match the star-rating lol

    Thank you so much for this dude. I just drive around in this thing I love it so much. It still could use a slightly less weird grill (A not so bad temporary solution is to just remove the internal headlights), some proper badging and configs and lore, and it'll be perfect

    Also, slight suggestion: if it's possible, could you make the grill go up with the hood like some older dodge trucks had? Thanks!
    1. oioioioo
      Author's Response
      I hadn't really planned on the grille moving with the hood, or even really thought of it since this is just an appearance-mod when it comes right down to it...
      I'll play around when I can and see if I can come up with something I don't hate. Badging is planned though, albeit in the distant-future.
      I don't plan on making any more configs because I already made the fenders, people who play the game can decide how to use them. I don't need to have an imagination for you too.
