In 1964, the Calvinator Muscle Fleet debutted. And with the Calvinator Muscle Fleet came the Calvinator T Series Pickups. In 1965, they went into production, and were beloved by Gasmeans Nationwide. Unlike the other base models of the Muscle Fleet, they weren't underpowered by an inline 4. They were cranking HUNDREDS of Ponies under their big butt hoods.
The T-1500 had a towing capacity rating of 2500 LBs, even though, it is much higher than that. The truck also had a Warrior Varient, which you guessed, had 547 BHP. And it went 160 mph, while the regular model went 100.
Over 13 million T-Series Pickups were made between 1965 and 1977, and you can still find them on the road TODAY. 4 Million of them were T-1500 Warriors.
