Car Games - Tutorial

Introduction:

Welcome to car games; an assortment of different types of events/mini-games. Each theme consists of one of each of the five different types of events.

Power Ups:

There are 6 different power ups, though not all events will have powerups. Multipliers will multiply your score at the end of the scenario. Getting two powerups combine together (eg. 2x + 4x = 8x).

A juggernaut power up spawns a truck along the direction of which the power-up is facing. This truck does not affect your score but can be used to get other power ups or push other vehicles out of the way.

Time powerups adds more time to the clock to allow you to get extra points for finishing early.

WARNING: Due to the some unknown reason, power ups trigger in sometimes peculiar ways:

1: A vehicle 'trigger-zone' will be (most likely) the center-front of the vehicle and as such, the back of the vehicle may appear to go through the power up and not trigger it.

2: The power up may not trigger at all even if you go through it - unknown why but thankfully, this is a rare event.

Medals:

Finally, the last aspect of a scenario is what the score equates to. At the end of a scenario, your total score is displayed along with the medal achieved and the points required for the next medal. There are 5 medals to be won in every scenario: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond.

All medals, trophies and progress is stored in a file in your BeamNG drive directory. If you wish to restart your progress, delete the file called 'cargames_save'. Do NOT EDIT it unless you a) Want to cheat or b) Take the risk of breaking the game!
