Good, but for some reason if the rat comes with contact with any part of the car (except wheels) it destroys it.

Author's ResponseHaha, That would be cool to have. I actually have an Alligator in mind that would be easy to make walk with its small legs and low to the ground wont fall over. It would be over sized and also would double for a speed bump. But large enough it can bite a car. Think that wont work and be a speed bump. Maybe two sizes.

Author's ResponseThat is in the Repo too! It is very large trap. I need to remake it better. Was really new at jbeam stuff when making these.

Author's ResponseThanks! Yeah that little guy.. I need to redo the Ref Nodes. I had no idea then how to make them follow it without going all over the screen. It is why they are anchored and fixed.

Blue Bird GamingVersion: 1.0- 5/5,
You should make one version the size of a bus and call it the real New York rat
-
Author's ResponseHaha, that would be possible to scale using Angelo123's Jbeam Editor for Blender. Probably have to make some adjustments to weights and springs.

Just what we need.
However, as a rat owner (actual rat owner) i need to inform you that rats don't usually squeak, because they squeak like that ONLY when they are annoyed, or are in pain.
Their usual squeaks are ultrasound, so we can't hear them.
But i have an idea.
What if the rat starts squeaking when there is a vehicle in the distance of ~30 meters?-
Author's ResponseI had rats for pets too in my first marriage. Was her Idea. I thought they were boring little pets that did nothing but hide. Bought it all kinds of tubes and all they did was dig a hole in the paper stuff and hide. But they came out to eat when feeding time.
I also had to see the ugly side to them when I did pest control and saw things they did as wild animals. So I can see it both ways.
As far as making them squeak, I had not idea at the time how to make custom sounds but that is a great idea. I would have to see if ChatGTP can help with the car triggering the sound based on proximity. I have a lua for random sounds something can make like a dummy talking, or sounds when a beam is damaged, but none for when a car is close. Will look into it though, thanks for suggestion !

Make those changes and the Ref nodes will be using the rats nodes. I experimented with that but it was very jarring. Not sure how to make the nodes stable with something hoping around so much. Other than make a mechanical gimble that also attaches to the rat the the nodes are in.
I left that stuff in the Jbeam in case someone wanted to use the nodes of the rat instead of standard Ref Nodes that I anchored.

As a pet rat owner, I can say that the handling is pretty accurate.
-1 star because camera is not attached to the rat
-1 star for animal cruelty in the overview ;(-
Author's ResponseThank you for the 3 stars :D Rats are pests. But I can understand.
