Civetta Bolide Legacy Edition 0.3.0

Brings back the old version of the Bolide from the good old days

The 0.24.1 update has brought over the remastered Civetta Bolide, with extensive changes to the model, textures, and configurations. In doing so, some aspects of the vehicle were said to be lost by some people.

This mod restores the old version of the Bolide from the early days of BeamNG, dating back to version 0.3.0. The older version does not conflict with the updated one due to different internal names (bolide.zip vs super.zip). So if, for whatever reason, you miss that version and its quirks and features, then this one is for you.

Keep in mind that this is an untouched copy of the vehicle from my copy of version 0.24.0.2 prior to updating to 0.24.1. Minor bugs aside (such as the brake disc hubs clipping with the remastered Bolide wheels), it works with no problems in the latest version of the game at the time of writing this.

    Frequently Asked Questions:
    Question 1:
Why did you upload the old version of the Bolide? Isn't it better to use the remastered one?
Answer: While the remastered version of the Bolide will surely make it up-to-date with more recent content, some of us want a dose of nostalgia. And that's what I intend on reviving. Also, the old and the new ones won't conflict with each other due to different internal names.
Question 2: Can you add the old versions of the Pessima, LeGran, D-Series, H-Series, and Roamer?
Answer: Unfortunately, I don't plan on adding any of the other pre-remastered versions of these vehicles. The internal names for these vehicles have not changed between the old and new ones, and would require further changes just so that they work.

    Disclaimer:
This mod is provided as-is. While I have double checked the files to avoid as many conflicts as possible, there's still a small chance that something might conflict. Use at your own discretion.

Fun fact: I have two bolides: the old one and the new one (without this mod)
I think it’s because I downloaded a bolide facelift mod on version 0.23.
I really like the old bolide.
It’s hard to control on keyboard but an amazing car and if you have the right tires and suspension it’s easy to control.

If you somehow remember to back up the old Bolide from version 0.24.0.2 before updating to 0.24.1 and later, then yeah, you won't need to download it on the repository. This listing is the exact same one as stated in the description, save for a more compressed file size and a few other repository information when viewed in-game.

But I can agree that the old version still has its unique personality that some people can enjoy in spite of the remastered version. Thanks for your words nonetheless :)
