We should do those wagon versions of the d series like on that stepside mod. Lemme get the pic: https://www.beamng.com/data/attachments/45/45758-519a5ad9f1f3b2199c4464adec996c75.jpg

Awesome mod, been looking for a bed like this for the D-series to make it look like the Muscle Truck from Roadkill

Hey man, I really love your work, and since there isn't a discussion tab, I figured I would just leave this suggestion here. Do you think you could add little plastic grip pads, that are on trucks with stepsides like this? Because the bare metal looks kinda strange to me.
-
Author's Response
Maybe at some point. Thanks for the review!

Great mod! Reminds me of an old mod that added more versions of the D-Series, which had a bed like that.

Yes! I love that curvy rear end! To bad trucks don't use this type of bed anymore.

I mean, it makes sense why they stopped making these. Thanks for the review!

Personally, I've always hated the styling of these kind of beds, but as a mod bringing more diversity and quality to the game, it's great!

Oh this brings me back to the old d-series addon pack by AR162B. Only issue I see is that having the bed equipped causes some glitchiness with the rear bumper. Will the fenders be compatible with skins in future updates?
-
Author's Response
I do plan on making more skins compatible with the fenders than just the twotones. However, I know practically nothing about UVs so it would be a challenge. Thanks for the review!

OK, I'm going to be honest, it looks great, the idea is great, the thumbnails are great... However, the main issue is the deformation is not really that good. The mesh is incredibly spiky in a crash, so therefore it is not realistic at all (which kind of defeats the whole purpose of the game). PLEASE DO NOT GIVE UP on this mod, it has so much potential... When the spiking issue is fixed I will also be sure to update my review :)
-
Author's Response
Yeah... The Jbeam could use some work TBH. Hopefully I can get some of that fixed in the next update. Anyway, thanks for the criticism!

Author's Response
It was inspired by a few different mods (that are now outdated). Anyway, thanks for the review!
