This is my Compensator build for the Gambler 500 Contest, I wanted to do an 80s Wagon conversion since I feel like it was the best body to choose, I made it feel like it was patchworked and made to offroad instead of doing a custom build. I liked the idea of keeping it RWD but adding on parts with the 3D Editor to make them look like offroad parts.
You may notice there's an extra set of lights in the back as Indicators, I tried for HOURS to get the red lights to act like turn signals and brake pedals but something with the exporter just wasn't letting it happen. The good news is that the 3D Bumpers look Incredible, and I am very happy with them.
This car was inspired by a Ford LTD, and the motor inspired by a 350 Small Block. I decided to make it more realistic by keeping the Automatic Transmission instead of changing it, along with the RWD Layout, to make it more custom I extensively used the 3D Tools and Decals to make various touches that make it look more handmade, I hope you Enjoy.
