For 0.9, things are much better! The environment looks better, the AI drives harder and the grid layout is better.
Giving the player a disadvantage is a smart move, but it's still really easy to pass the pack after just one or two turns. Any way to break up the conga-line that turns it into a one man race?
Otherwise, still 5 stars. One of my favourite mods in a while

Pretty entertaining scenarios, while being a bit repetitive, but on a map that's not particularly pleasing to look at. But hey it's better :)

Yea it is meant to be as eco as poss so it is quite bear, plus I cant work out how to change the colour of the mud to remove the contrast that the rockydirt has to it. I can't really do anything about the AI and racing is racing.

- 5/5,
An excellent mod! Great fun to play, this is the only real "derby" racing there's been in BeamNG. The map looks great, maybe a bit bare. It's a shame cars adhere to each other in the smallest collision, but that's not something you can fix.
My suggestion: Perhaps a variation featuring less cars in total, but the cars are complete (no panels removed). For people with higher end CPUs only, though.-

I have just released an eco version with 3 ai in, see mod description. The problem with having all the body parts on wasn't just with the FPS, the cars stick together waay worse too. For now it seems this is the optimum setup. Be sure to check out the new updated version. Thanks for your review.

Thanks for reducing the length of all the races! The mod is fantastic!

Thanks for your comment, there is more to come for this mod later, or tomorrow when they get round to verifying it.

Thank you. I am starting work on it again today, will do things like make a proper revers course decal road so the cars corner properly, change what cars you end up driving to be more varied and perhaps put a little more detail, I still want to to run as eco as possible. Cheers

- 4/5,
once you realised the campaign i loved this map, even the 8 cars racing on the map don't lag my crappy PC 1 bit!

Thanks, I have made the races only 4 laps now (awaiting update approval)
I myself find myself playing with it quite often. It's just a shame that it's necessary to strip the cars so much to get a decent framerate. Thanks for your review

It could be a great mod but the campaign is too boring! 8 laps for a race where you get in first position by the end of the 1st lap is way too much! you should definetly lower the number of laps to 3 or something close to that
-
Author's Response
You are totally right but as I said in the description the fun is in the survival of the 8 laps as the AI is what it is at this stage. Thanks for your review.

Cool mod. I like racing scenarios and this one is no different. The campaign seems a bit repetitive, but with that said it is a campaign and not just a cluster of scenarios that you have to manually choose. In freeroam there is not much to do though.

Great concept (I myself am working on a map like this.) It looks OK and I can get great performance (on free-roam).
But if I try to run the campaign, my laptop will probably explode... -

There is now a campaign, which is what the track was designed for, will you consider reviewing?

Please don't post things that don't even look decent on the repo. I mean, if you didn't notice, you didn't paint the ground correctly and the terrain feels just empty. Just look at some levels like Altitude or Yellav Valley, and maybe you'll understand my point.

I have released v0.9 and am awaiting verification, should be up in 3-4 hours or there is a link to it in the description if you want to try now. Would you consider reviewing it? Thanks
