What is it?
It's a detonator for the Crash Hard Explosive Barrel, with a timer.
Awesome! How do I use it?
It's good for taking out cinderblock walls, like the walls of the bank vault that you want to hit:
- Obtain the Crash Hard Explosive Barrel mod.
- Obtain the Detonator for CH Explosive Barrel mod (this mod).
- Spawn an explosive barrel.
- In the Vehicle Config --> Parts menu, select "Barrel Detonator Timer" for the "Explosive" slot.
- In the Options --> Controls --> Vehicle Specific menu, map a button to the "Activate timer" action.
- In the Tuning menu, set the desired count down time (0 to 99 seconds).
- Activate the timer, wait for it, then enjoy the 'splosion.
It's also good for turning vehicles inside out:
v0.2 adds a crane hook so that the barrel can be hoisted and subsequently dropped by a crane, or SkyRider Bolide equipped with the SkyLifter crane hook.

It seems that the big blocks of the retaining wall are too heavy to be tossed like the cinderblocks with just 1 barrel. I'm going to try to cascade barrel stages like bowling pins, with the 1 pin being the barrel with the detonator. That barrel would trigger barrels 2 & 3, which would then trigger barrels 4-6, culminating in the (hopefully simultaneous) detonation of barrels 7-10. Maybe 4 barrels would have the power to knock down big blocks.

I'm going to pull a bank job with it. My crew will blast a hole in the vault wall with a barrel. I'm going to hold the police at bay with a minigun while my crew gets the loot. We'll then make our getaway with the aid of miniguns along a pre-planned route where we placed landmines and barrels ahead of time.
