Resting atop of the same all-steel ladder chassis as the 950 model, the 2600 Hot Hatch is a completely different animal. A premium-equipped, comfortable yet sporty hatchback with a lot of power under the hood, and RWD. A practical sport-compact for a more discerning, well off customer, still sharing the same near-indestructible chassis of the basic model. Wide sports tires ensure good cornering grip, and minimise wheelspin and losing the rear end, not needing traction control.

Very very heavy, for such a compact vehicle, due to the heavy chassis, premium interior, and overusage of steel and iron for cost-saving measures, but like the basic model, very stable on it's wheels as a result, high load limit, difficult to flip over, nearly indestructible on rough terrain, and with an engine powerful enough to give it spring in the step.
