Dorra GT 4000 Rally
Is it a GT? Or is it an SUV? Or is it both? Or is it... neither, but it's own class in itself? Something for you to decide. What is a fact though, is that this is a red-headed stepchild of the Dorra Automotive Industries' GT family. No FWD. No transverse mounted engine. No sequential gearbox. This model eschews those recognisable traits, in favor of a more conventional longitudinally-mounted engine, and AWD powertrain. It is a jack of all trades, but master of none. Do you want a powerful, but drivable everyday commuter vehicle, with a smooth automatic gearbox? Do you want a sporty family car, with enlarged cabin, and a full-sized rear row? Do you want to take your car out to a dirt track, a Baja circuit, or do some rock-climbing offroad? Or do you want to out-drag that Porsche 911 to the next stoplight?
The GT 4000 Rally has you covered, in all of the aforementioned! Rugged, heavy-duty suspension, elevated ground clearance, semi-offroad longlife tires, It is a Swiss Army Knife of cars, in that it is capable of literally every task you have in mind for it. It may not be the best in any one of them, but it is capable in all of them. Multitasking for the win.
Oh... do try to keep a sensible speed while cornering. There is a price to pay for not having sports compound or semi-slick tires, on a 2242kg heavy car that likes to go fast. A lack of cornering grip is that price. Brake early. Brake often. It is fast in a straight line. But NOT in corners.
