Adjusts interior muffling strength based on surrounding collision

    Overview

    This mod adjusts the interior muffling strength according to the surrounding collision structure, dynamically reacting to e.g. opening doors or roofs.
    It overwrites all vehicle mods doing this manually and uses the default muffling factor that is set per-vehicle as its own maximum.
    It is active on all vehicles by default, whenever you are inside the volume surrounding the driver cam.

    This is great. This kind of mod being possible, I started wondering whether you'd have the knowhow and interest to delve into the distance-based attenuation of engine sounds, because in my opinion they fade out too quickly and cut off early. Mostly this bothers me when doing flyovers with planes. Is it possible to change the rate of DB drop per vehicle, and to automate the EQ based on distance and to use a separate set of samples for distant sounds?

      Basically all audio filtering is done in FMOD which you cannot modify.

    perfect, always bothered me this wasn't already in the game. only issues i've noticed is that either the effect is not noticeable or not there on SOME modded vehicles that feature opening windows (which is not this mod's fault, and that it does work on others just blows my mind) or when windows break (though that's more of a nitpick and probably not possible given the way this mod works). a must-have if you ask me

    Must have feature for the game. The fact that it can be done by a mod shows that it can be incorporated into the base game, aswell as the other realistic enhancements youve put out
