Works right from the outset, had not adjusted anything, provides a realistic driver POV cam for offroading and feels much better than vanilla, similar to Enhanced Chase Camera. TBH I think this should be renamed to Enhanced Driver Camera, because that’s precisely what it is

This is a must have, it is infinitely superior to the vanilla driver camera and it really brings more immersion when you drive with a simrig. The latest updates have made the mod much better IMO, specially the shake, I always used no shake camera but rn it feels so good. Thanks for the bugfixes and keep it up bro, this is really a great mod.

I think what giorgier means is that, with this new update, you can no longer look up or down, with the camera now raising or lowering. I agree that this is very annoying.
-
Author's Response
Yes, he sent me a PM clarifying. I managed to fix it earlier today and we're now waiting for BeamNG to approve the update. Hopefully should be out by tomorrow!

mod was perfect only zoom not worked, after that update i cant look upside and downside camera just adjusting up and down, and every car change comes that camera menu on screen
-
Author's Response
Thank you for your feedback. The camera menu will do that at the moment. Still figuring out how to get BeamNG to permanently remove the window after closing it. I'm not really sure what you mean by upside and downside camera, but I'll try to look at that tonight and see if there are any bugs when you look around.

This mod is great, I love how it makes you feel like you're actually sitting in a vehicle and not bolted to it, I do wish I could use the zoom keybinds to adjust fov,

Author's Response
I've seen other people report this issue. I'll be taking a look at it soon. Sadly I've been busy with a lot of things. But I'll get to this as soon as I can.

Can you remove the gauges and start stop at the right side And the turbo gauge
-
Author's Response
I wish I could, believe me. Seems that BeamNG is hard coded to hide the gauges in interior view. Only way to remove them is to replace the driver.lua script with mine by hand.

over all this is amazing , but could you please fix the manual zoom ? i can't manually change fov ( using hotkies to zoom in and out ) and have to change it in the default driver cam then switch back to mod cam or go change it on settings ...
the fov changes on UI saying it is updated for all vehicles when using the hotkeys both sets ( 3,9,shift+pgup,shift+pgdown) but the fov of the camera stays the same ! it is not like this when using the normal driver cam .
idk why it does not update the cam fov of the realistic cam ( but in the ui it says it is going up or down but nothing happens) ... any idea?-
Author's Response
Thanks for reporting that issue. I'll see if I can fix it sometime soon. I don't think I have ever messed with the FOV code in the camera script so I'm not so sure why that would happen.

I love this mod, use it all the time!
Sadly.... it has a major bug that really drives me insane!
When you spawn the car and instantly switch into first person, everything is fine. But if you drive a bit and then switch into First Person, the camera sometimes is completely off-centered and totally unusable! ONly fixable with ctrl+r! If this bug wouldn't be there, best mod on earth... :(-
Author's Response
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'll try to recreate the issue on my end and try to find a fix.

Amazing mod, wished it had the feature of the old look ahead mod though, could you add it?

Creates such immersion and essential when you can't feel any forces. Seeing them more clearly (even if it might be slightly unrealistic) compensates for the lack of real g-forces. You have to try it out and it works with "look ahead" which combined creates awesome immersion.

Insanely good and allows you to see the feedback a lot better. This 100% needs to be official
Huge deal breaker right now is not being able to adjust the shake.-
Author's Response
I am excited to say that adjustable shake is coming in the next version along with many other adjustable settings. Should be done with the update in a few weeks.

amazing. Developers should send you a check since this should already be a feature in the game. Great job
