Alpha ETK 800 Reworked Gauge Cluster 0.1.3

And more interior improvements

  1. Milendur

Modifications i had laying around for a while that i made for myself but they slowly added up for a whole mod so i decided to share it
I recommend reading the full description for all the small details

    • Instead of just a texture with needles on top it's now 3D modeled

    screenshot_2025-07-08_23-27-58.png screenshot_2025-07-08_23-42-33.jpg screenshot_2025-07-06_22-54-18.png
    • Efficiency bar changes color depending on economy
    economy_gauge_gif.gif

    • Readouts only update every ~500ms which is more realistic
    speed_update_rate_gif.gif

    • Updated ABS, TCS, ESC, Park brake etc.. symbols
    screenshot_2025-07-04_01-02-13.png

    • Added a feature where you can track your trip distance seperate from the total distance of the car, below the odo_____ line on the left is the total distance which works as usual, on the right there is trip distance which resets every time you refuel or reset the car. Both of them reset with CTRL+R.

And there's more but i've hit the limit for picture uploads so i'll just explain them.
    • Slightly improved dashboard (mainly the shape around the gauge cluster)
    • Gauge rings (the orange circles), they can be turned off from the parts menu
    • Made ABS light functional, now it blinks on deceleration, should i keep this or remove it?
    • Reduced ttSport gauge cluster to 8k rpm redline
    • Improved wiper/signal stalks, center rear view mirror and sun visors (brand new 3D models)
    • Lowered steering wheel (in order to see gauge cluster better and vanilla one is too high anyways)
    • Option for opened sun visors (under Roof panel - Headliner - Milendur Headliner)
    • White Footwell lighting that turns on with low beams/high beams (no light with stripped interior)
    • All interior buttons now have backlight (also works with the additional interior colors if you have the Harzer Mountain Tuning (HMT) mod by @xpogosam

You need to select Interior Milendur to see the parts. Currently there are only metric versions of the gauge cluster, imperial will be added soon. This gauge cluster is positioned differently so you might need to adjust your camera position. Ambient Occlusion can make the gauge cluster look dull. It is recommended to use atleast 1.3 game brightness. Some of the showcase photos may be old and latest version can look better/different. Please give feedback if you notice strange visuals on your end because it can look different on some graphics settings and systems.

The bulk of the mod with all the new features is free but if you’d like to support my work feel free to visit my Ko-fi where you'll find
an optional add-on that expands the customization for this mod

If you have an issue please DM me or use the discussion thread before giving a review:

    Known issues:
    • Fuel/Temp needles on petrol versions are slightly offset to the front and clip into the gauge cluster plane
    • Sometimes when switching to Interior Milendur from vanilla interior the backlight can get stuck in "on" state
    • Missing imperial versions

Didn't realize how bad the current interior is for the ETK 800 after using this mod. The quality of interiors seems a bit neglected recently on a lot of older vehicles.

When they turned their attention to ETK 800 in 0.28 i was hoping for interior improvement, this didn't happen so i took the matter in my own hands with what i can do

Thought about this but decided that it won't be practical to do for now. Will think about it in the future.

How come devs didn't do in the vanilla? Excellent quality here, i'd call the vanilla a cheap soulless knock-off.

Because they have limited time and resources and need to focus on bigger things like more cars and maps. The modding community can geek out on the small details
