Beta ETK C-Series (2004-2011) 1.20a

Cracking for a first-full car. Better that is it's got loads of content packed in from the get-go. Fun beast to drive too. The only thing that keeps it from five for me, and seems a few others have noticed is indeed it's a little too big compared to even some bigger cars already in-game (800-Series already being a big wagon is for ants in comparison to it), Other than that it's amazing the work you've put into this and I really want to see where you will take it from here. Great Work!

not sure why, but i really like the MaxTrak config. would be nice if you added metric gauges, but other than that its alright

Hey, great mod. I see what everyone else is saying and I think they're slightly mistaken. The whole car is a bit oversized. If you spawn it next to an ETK 800, you'll see it's bigger in almost every way. Taller, wider... the wheel arches is where you see it most.

If you take this car and shrink it by 20%, it's gonna be perfect.

Although it has some issues here and there, I believe rating this mod lower than 4 stars would be a bit harsh considering this is your first full-car mod.
The effort you've put into this should be rewarded even though it's certainly not the best out there, and that you've still managed to make an entire car from scratch.

Undoubtably the proportions aren't fixable at this stage, but if you ever want to make another car again I suggest doing a bit more research on general car proportions and taking inspiration from real-life measurements instead of eyeballing everything, you'd be surprised how much that helps!

Other than that the jbeam is a bit sus in some places but that's about it. I'm sure we'll see more great mods from you in the future and I can only wish for you to improve on this. Keep it up :)

Let's start with cons, cause they're boring!

Cons: Wheel arches are massive (at least the front)
Cons: Texture quality on some parts
Cons: Headlights aren't as good looking as the rest
Cons: Diesel engine kills my speaker system

Pros: Overall look
Pros: Fun to drive and makes a great drift car
Pros: Decent amount of parts
Pros: A car class that the game really is lacking
Pros: Drives SO well. I made a race config for it and it really is good on the track!
Pros: FREE!!!

I think you did a good job with the design. I wish I had your skills.
Despite a few cons it really is a mod I love playing around with. Good job man, I really enjoy this mod!

Really nice looking car with the Audi A3 inspired Rear? I think?
I love the licenceplate lights in the Back, but the Taillights arent really visable at daytime/ are pretty dim
but love the car ^^ oh yeah and the steering wheel seems like it has a way lower texture resolution compared to the rest ... but over all really great mod

Good points :
-a new car :D
-quite good modelling and texturing overall
-nice to drive
-plenty of configs
-pretty good collisions/jbeam

To improve :
-some texturing details are rushed
-honestly the front fascia/bumper looks more like a Renault than a German hatch, but with a too wide empty band on the bumper
-already pointed out but too fat wheel arches
-taillights seem too bright and unicolored

mod is bit raw, ofc need a numerous amount of updates, besides it, mod is pretty good

as so many other people have mentioned, the proportions are HORRIFIC, the lights are HUGE, the rear windshield(?) is really strange, and the back has no design. the mirrors are tiny and the exhaust is huge
the arches over the wheels are so horrifically noticeable, and way too low poly
the textures are BAD in places, mostly around windows and the strange metal ish thing that goes over the whole interior, which looks like it has so many fingerprints its horrible.
speaking of the interior - its just... not it
due to the strange size of the car, its all squished together, the door speakers are right under the door handle.. what??
the 'C-SERIES' writing indented into the dashboard is genuinely disgusting, literally no other etk does this - and speaking of that
this cars design is nothing like any other etk. this should've been a whole separately branded car..
the model itself is so iffy in places, the windshield has a strange indent in it for no reason, and like i mentioned its so low poly in places
the front wheels arent centred, most of the wheels are not even symmetrical so when they actually spin you can notice how they arent even perfectly round. and what the hell are the base model wheels?
the diesel sound is horrid.
you cant even tell when any of the rear lights are on due to the strange textures it has on the glass.
the crash physics are something, none of the glass even shatters, just cracks. come on..

theres alot more i want to mention here, but ive probably warranted myself a ban for this fairly mean review.
i do like the mod, cars fun to drive for the most part but its just so dissapointing, and needs some heavy work for it to be anywhere near dev quality

I really like this mod, the only thing I have to mention is the interior uvs. There not great and are mapped odd in some spots. Otherwise a good mod!

I overall rate this mod well, as it drives nicely, is something not represented in BeamNG already, and is generally well made. My only criticisms are: the I4 sounds like a flat 4, it could just use the FCV I4 sound, and the 4 spoke steering wheel looks poorly made with rough, square edges and also looks dated. Overall a good experience though!

this od is great and it looks like an Audi a3 but it needs nome work good job!
