4.5L V8 Engine for ETK K-Series & ETK 800

    This mod adds a 4.5L V8 Engine for ETK K-Series & ETK 800.
    Engine model from Gavril H-Series was used.

    Version 1.0:
    -V8 Engine for ETK K-Series
    -2 custom configurations:
    -Kc8r with 6-speed manual transmission
    -Kc8r with 7-speed automatic transmission​

    Update 1.1:
    - Engine now available for ETK 800 as well
    - Configurations for ETK 800 with V8 engine added
    - Fixed bug where engine would show through hood under full load - engine is now positioned a bit lower

    Update 1.2:
    - Intake Pack - 3 superchargers, 3 turbos, sport intake, race intake
    -     AWD support - AWD transfer case added to transmissions
    -     New 6-speed sequential transmission
    - 2 new custom configurations:
    - V8 AWD configuration for ETK 800
    - GTR configuration for ETK K-Series    ​

    Update 1.2.5:
    - Default ETK transmissions support
    - my transmissions have "(MOD)" added to their names to distinguish them from default transmissions​
    - Turbo and supercharger tweaks
    - Turbochargers and superchargers are split into 4 stages now instead of 3
    - Added Variable Boost Turbocharger and Variable Pressure Supercharger for better configurability
    ​

    I like it, it sounds good, I even repurposed the sound for a Burnside engine I'm using, matches really well. It actually sounds different on the Burnside then the ETK's which is why it works(would not fit if it sounded like the it does with ETK's. It sounds more old-school muffled long-stroke V8 with the Burnside). Unfortunately ETK, or Burnside if suffers from the problem described below.

    The Problem which is enough to take it down a star is the sound does not change when the exhaust is damaged, or without mufflers(I tested 4.5 V8 equipped ETK800 one with and one w/out exhaust they sounded same). It detracts from immersion/realism when the exhaust is off, or falls off, and the sound is the exact same.

    As she is now I give the mod 4 of 5 due to the aforementioned exhaust problem.

    Very fun, my dreams of a german power wagon (kraft-kombi) finally come true:D but can you make the turbo sounds configurable and maybe add the vivace after fire sounds?

    I have been waiting for an updated v8 mod for the etks for a while this is great! I think the turbo mods could have a little less power because it adds an engine cover and gives it a more stock nature and maybe also a variable turbo would be neat.

      Supercharger, turbo and AWD is the plan for the future update. Can't say for sure when that will be though.
