ETK K-Series ttSport USDM Taillights 1.0

Now with red turn signals!

Ever since the 0.28 game update was teased (and eventually released) earlier this year, I was excited to see the refreshed ETK K-Series and its corresponding ttSport body parts. I expected that variant's set of taillights to be offered with red turn signals for the US market, when the regular ones are offered in USDM and EUDM specifications. But to my surprise, they were not added. And so, after months of waiting to no avail, I decided to make them myself.

Inspired by many German luxury vehicles sold in the US, I thought it would be more appropriate to have the brake lights double as turn signals for that specific region (since the US does not mandate amber rear turn signals). In doing so, the section for the amber turn signals was somewhat redundant; instead of disabling them altogether, I repurposed them to be reverse lights to complement the ones on the trunk lights. Otherwise, everything else remain the same.

Included with the mod are a set of US-spec ttSport taillights and trunk lights in their respective parts selection menu slots. They will not conflict with the original set of ttSport taillights already included in version 0.28 and later.

Since the time I uploaded the USDM parts add-on for the Procyon Centauri mod last year, there has been an increase in interest for US-spec bits and pieces for vanilla vehicles. Despite being a relatively minor change, my K-Series add-on will surely fit in with the trend. Thanks for reading, and enjoy!

I am aware that Technology Connections and many other people (within and outside of the US) don't like red rear turn signals. They will have to deal with it unless the US government makes changes to their interesting vehicle regulations xD

I agree. There's something that makes US-spec vehicles interesting in their own right. Thanks for the review!
