The EuroTrack 2-8 SS was entered into the FailRace Autocross competition. The car was the most powerful car and one of the lightest, it appeared to have the chance of going the fastest. The first run was slow, a winglet was knocked off at the first corner and the car. The second run had another mistake, the car went deep into the braking zone at the final corner, despite being on track to match the fastest time. The final run was going well, the sector times were breaking records, it was on track to go a second faster than any other car, but then it had a major crash dropping it 6 seconds below the record time, breaking the rear suspension and ripping off the rear bodywork.
The 2-8 SS was the fastest on paper but never broke any records, its width made it too accident prone on a narrow autocross course.
EuroTrack then had the fastest autocross car in the world, but for no reason. EuroTrack decided to then turn it into a 600bhp 900kg road car. It has less turbo lag, and the engine is more reliable. The engine is still a 2-litre V6 twin turbo, but it now works as a road engine. It also now has 2 regular headlights, brake lights, number plates and other necessary components.
