Experimental F1 Car (Automation) 1.0

Realistic F1 car made with Automation! :)

  1. DaddyNikolaTesla

I challenged my self to make a F1 car with Automation. And here it finally is.
A pretty realistic F1 car that handles and feels like a real f1 car.
Before you are gonna drive this car I highly suggest to turn off TC and all other assists. Otherwise it wont reach his top speed of 345 km/h!

    Specs:
    -1050Hp V10 motor.
    -1500 kg
    - 0-100km/h in 2.7 sec
    - 100-200 km/h in 4.5 sec
    -Top speed: 345 km/h

    Important!

Keep in mind this is made in Automation and that its really hard to make F1 cars like this. Automation is not meaned for making Hypercars, and most of the modding came from modding the files it self.

There are 2 major problems this cars have right now:
-The rear wheels are actually 2 times as width than the model shows. So be carefull with driving close to walls. It may collide sooner than you think.
-The tires are not made to go at these speeds. And I cant make them stronger. It may happen from time to time that the tires are popping. Its rare but it can happen.

Further more there are no major issues and its really fun driving this car.
I hope you will enjoy it and leave a comment below if you have any feedback. :)

    5/5,
    Version: 1.0
    Hi :)

First of all, I want to say that I know how hard it is to build a car out of 3D fixtures and to make it work properly in Beam, since I already released an open wheeler prototype and an 8x8 off-road truck, and I am currently working on a 2022 F1. So, just because you did everything that needs to be done to have a clean result, you already deserve 5 stars in my opinion. But your car is not perfect, I see a lot of possible improvements:
    - Your car is not a realistic F1 ;). It takes some parts of the new F1, and some other parts to various older generations of F1. I personally don’t mind, but someone expecting a real realistic F1 can be disappointed. This is more a open wheeler prototype
    - According to beam, it weights 1360kg. It’s way too heavy for an open wheeler. It’s an easy but time-consuming fix. Reduce by 50% every single node weight value of your car, you will end up with half your weight while keeping your weight repartition
    - Your tires are extremely unrealistic. A friction coef of 3 is way to high, and it’s also why your tires explode sometimes. You should try to go with a value of 1.2/1.3, it will feel way better. Most of your grip should come from the 3000kg of downforce your car produces at 300kph (which is actually a really good score), and not from a set of tires covered by a thick coat of superglue x)
    - Your suspensions are too soft. It’s kinda hard to have a clean trajectory
    - You can edit the scale and the position of the mesh of your wheels and tires to make them visually fit their real width
    - It would be nice to have a proper collision mesh. It’s quite hard to make tho, so it’s not really important if you can’t do it

That’s all I have to say, I hope this feedback will be useful! If you have any question, you can send me a PM, I am quite busy, but I will try to help if you need/want it :)

Thank you for the feedback!!! Right now I am working on a much better F1 car. This was my first car I have ever created with Automation, so I am still new to it. I will take your feedback in my next F1 car :)
