The facelifted 4th generation of the premium fullsize sedan offered a 5.0L V8 and AWD. Competing with the likes of the Lincoln MKS and Toyota Avalon, the Aerio was easily the fastest American offering. 0-60 could happen in 5 seconds flat, and a smooth operating and reliable engine/transmission was great around town, on the freeway, and even at the track.
