RWD and AWD sports compacts, with quirky "SAABMW"-esque aesthetics

    The Fidata Armonia is a line of sporty compact executive cars. All models come with fully independent suspension, helical LSDS, ABS, and a premium interior with leather accents, AC, and a cassette player/ radio unit. All models use variants of a 2.25L DOHC-16 inline 4 engine called the QuadValvole 225. All trims are based on a platform with a 104in wheelbase and weigh between 2500-2900lbs. It is available in the following trims:

    - Released in 1986 for a price of $11,800, the 225N02M is the sportier entry-level trim of the Fidata Armonia. It uses the basic NA "86N" version of its engine that makes 148hp and 157lb-ft of torque. Compared to the closely related 225N02A, it has a few differences that make it feel more sporty, such as stiffer standard spring suspension, quicker steering response, and a 5-speed manual trans. It has a 8.1s 0-62mph time, a top speed of 134mph, and gets 24.4mpg.

    - Released in 1986 for a price of $12,400, the 225N02A is the more comfortable entry-level trim of the Fidata Armonia. It uses the basic NA "86N" version of its engine that makes 148hp and 157lb-ft of torque. Compared to the closely related 225N02M, it has softer suspension, a more forgiving steering response, and a 4-speed automatic transmission to make it a better relaxed cruiser. It has a 10.3s 0-62mph time, a top speed of 134mph, and gets 23.7mpg.

    - Released in 1986 for a price of $16,900, the 225S02M is the upgraded sports trim of the Fidata Armonia. It uses the performance NA "86S" version of its engine that makes 176hp and 176lb-ft of torque. It retains very similar handling to the 225N02M, though it is capable of stopping a little quicker due to its wider, grippier tires and vented disc brakes. It has a 7.2s 0-62mph time, a top speed of 141mph, and gets 23.0mpg.

    - Released in 1986 for a price of $20,700, the 225L02A is the luxury trim of the Fidata Armonia. It uses the turbo "86TL" version of its engine that makes 203hp and 226lb-ft of torque, with torque coming in smoothly low in the RPM range in order to simulate a larger NA engine. It also features cushy hydropneumatic suspension, helical AWD with 50% of power being sent to the back, and an automatic transmission for the ultimate smooth ride. It has a 7.8s 0-62mph time, a top speed of 151mph, and gets 22.3mpg.

    - Released in 1986 for a price of $21,500, the 225T02M is the flagship sport-focused trim of the Fidata Armonia. It has a lighter 2-door body, vented brakes, and the performance turbo "86TS" version of its engine that makes 231hp and 228ft-lb of torque. It features a 5-speed manual transmission, sport-tuned progressive spring suspension, as well as an AWD system to help put the power down that puts 68% of the power through its rear wheels to assist with cornering. It has a 5.9s 0-62mph time, a top speed of 162mph, and gets 22.3mpg.
    In 1995, the Armonia received a second generation, the 260X03X series. It features a new larger and more advanced aluminum DOHC-25 2.6L inline 5 engine called the QuintoValvole 260 in a few variants that increase power and efficiency across the range, and in addition all models have been fitted with larger 17in rims and larger brakes, 1990s safety, a mandatory third brake light, adaptive dampers, and traction control. All trims are still based on a platform with a 104in wheelbase and weigh between 2700-3100lbs. It came in the following trims:

    - Released in 1995 for a price of $17,900, the 260N03M is the sportier entry-level trim of the gen 2 Fidata Armonia. It uses the basic NA "95N" version of its engine that makes 188hp and 207lb-ft of torque. Compared to the closely related 260N03A, it has a few differences that make it feel more sporty, such as stiffer standard spring suspension, quicker steering response, and a 5-speed manual trans. It has a 6.9s 0-62mph time, a top speed of 156mph, and gets 28.9mpg.

    - Released in 1995 for a price of $18,400, the 260N03A is the more comfortable entry-level trim of the gen 2 Fidata Armonia. It uses the basic NA "95N" version of its engine that makes 188hp and 207lb-ft of torque. Compared to the closely related 260N03M it has softer suspension, a more forgiving steering response, and a 4-speed automatic transmission to make it a better relaxed cruiser. It has a 8.8s 0-62mph time, a top speed of 159mph, and gets 27.9mpg.

    - Released in 1995 for a price of $22,600, the 260S03M is the upgraded sports trim of the gen 2 Fidata Armonia. It uses the performance NA "95S" version of its engine that makes 210hp and 219lb-ft of torque. It retains very similar handling to the 260N03M, though it is capable of stopping a little quicker due to its wider, grippier tires and vented disc brakes. It has a 6.4s 0-62mph time, a top speed of 166mph, and gets 27.2mpg.

    - Released in 1995 for a price of $25,200, the 260L03A is the luxury trim of the gen 2 Fidata Armonia. It uses the turbo "96TL" version of its engine that makes 259hp and 300lb-ft of torque, with torque coming in smoothly low in the RPM range so that it simulates a larger NA engine. It also features cushy air suspension, helical AWD with 50% of power being sent to the back, and an automatic transmission for the ultimate smooth ride. It has a 7.2s 0-62mph time, a top speed of 169mph, and gets 25.2mpg.

    - Released in 1995 for a price of $31,200, the 260T03M is the flagship sport-focused trim of the gen 2 Fidata Armonia. It has a lighter 2-door body, vented brakes, and the performance turbo "95TS" version of its engine that makes 374hp and 359ft-lb of torque. It features a 5-speed manual transmission, new air suspension, as well as an AWD system to help put the power down that puts 68% of the power through its rear wheels to assist with cornering. It has an astounding 3.9s 0-62mph time, a top speed of 201mph, and gets 22.5mpg.
