    Remade with the mission editor

    - added decorative scenery and pit lane for immersion
    - new ai driver configs (18 in total)

    Improvements due to using mission editor (a very neat tool)
    - race with your own car via the map marker (or start as scenario for default)
    - set custom lap count and starting grid size
    - randomized grid each reload
    - UI shows position, lap count and timing
    - race goals / stars and leaderboard
    - custom cam paths for the intro
    - AI awareness for more dynamic and realistic races

    - remaking the dirt figure 8 race, jamboree other iconic races from classic games
    - timing for every car and fastest lap pop-ups / tv overlay

    I signed up here to say this: my son (5) and I LOVE this mod, it's easilly our favourite. There's so much variance between races - it's risky to the very end, and can all come to a smahy end at the last minute; or you can get stuck in a pileup at the start and grind the laps and pull off the win. It's gripping and hillarious. Much fun.

    Please please please keep making it! We want more. We want options to race as our opponents vehicles! Or as busses! Three wheelers! Trucks & artics! Caravans!

    I'm following this mod for some years and I appreciate that you are going with the updates. Although, I'm starting to miss big 8 as I've used this mod as a 'durability test' for many configs. Have you got any estimate when it is coming back ?

    i loved these scenarios, but now when i press r (usually restarts the scenario) just respawns everyone and the ai just crash or dont drive at all

    Disclaimer - this mod is completely broken in BeamNG v0.26.

    I spent most of my BeamNG playtime playing the Hirochi 9 cars 8 laps scenario. This has been my favourite scenario for years.

    Unfortunately, its functionality has deteriorated over the past two years. The latest major BeamNG update was the final nail in the coffin for this scenario - now more than half the AI drivers crash immediately or drive very slowly, and the only way to restart the scenario is to reload it from the menu - pressing R just respawns all the vehicles.

    I have been able to manually add the Covet back in (the internal name changed from "hatch" to "covet" with this latest update, so it doesn't spawn unless the .prefab and .pc files are updated with the new internal name). For the rest of the problems however, I'm not smart enough to fix them myself ( absolutely would if I knew how to).
