Measures approximately 8.5m*26m and has a height of 2.2m (draft of ~0.8m empty).
Empty, the barge weighs about 100 tonnes.
This is a "dumb barge" and is realistically not self-propelled, however an invisible azimuth thruster is included by default for ease of use. You can control it with T/G keys and steer the same as any other vehicle. Top speed of 11kts / 21km/h / 13mph. F/H is used to control transverse thrusters.
Some options are provided. The default configuration comes with bollards and thruster, both of which can be removed in the parts menu.
Ballast can be set, up to 30 tonnes each (total: 90 tonnes).
It can be used to carry all sorts of things. No ramp is provided but ballast can help with aligning it to docks. You may have to use the node grabber to simulate mooring.
An option for a track mounted on the deck allows for transporting railcars and locomotives (note that many locomotives are a bit too heavy for it though).

There's a known issue that occasionally parts such as the tracks or JATO will spawn in with broken meshes. I don't have a fix for this. If it happens to you, try respawning the barge or toggling the parts in the part selector.
