Flood 1.4

Ever wanted to flood a map without using the level editor? Now you can with this script

  1. vulcan-dev
    New Version!
Read the changelog here: Flood - Updates | BeamNG

    How to use

    1. Open the Controls in the Options
    2. Search for "Flood"
    3. Bind a key
    4. Press that key and the menu will open, from there you can control the flood (This will only work when you have loaded into a map)

    Troubleshooting
If the key isn't opening the menu, try reloading the mod, or press CTRL + L to do a full reload of the Lua instance, this should ensure the mod get loaded correctly. However, I don't think this should be an issue anymore.

If the menu is grayed out, it means it could not find an ocean. If the map does have an ocean, then share the map name and I'll see what I can do.

Hello! Great mod, but it does NOT work on maps without oceans, even if I just want to enable rain. For example, I wanted to make rain in Polish Roads, but I wasn’t able, if you could fix that, it would be wonderful. Anyways, on most maps, it works great!

I'll make sure to do this in the next update (unsure of when it will be). And I was going to add an option to spawn an ocean, but I never got around to it. Besides that, glad you're enjoying the mod :)

Hey, I don't get notifications on reviews so I didn't get to see this. Have you fixed it? If not, let me know and I'll see what I can do :)

This is SO MUCH FUN! Works like a charm, great for some dramatic scenarios! Me and my friend made almost like a time trial on West Coast where the water slowly rises and you have to get to the top of the map!
I don't know how to use the "decrease" feature, but the rest is so much fun!

    5 stars!
